From July 24 to 29, the Agape “family” will gather in Tallinn for a wonderful time together. We’ve had many conferences in Agape over the years and seen great things happen. But we’re pleased to say that Heartbeat Tallinn is something bigger – it allows us to work hand in hand, to share what is on our heart, and to connect with the people of Tallinn.  And we’re very happy about the joint effort with city government and local Christians.

Whether you are a volunteer, a ministry partner or a member of Agape, whether you live in Estonia or Europe or someplace else - welcome to Heartbeat Tallinn!

We are looking forward to experiencing something special together, and we want you to be a part of it!

Dear Estonian!
Once, when we as a nation were in trouble, some of us got the impression that our land and nation could be freed after half a century of slavery. One of us taught us all to say together: Estonia is on our hands! Many repeated that beautiful sentence. Many sung together with Tõnis Mägi: "Creator, guard the Land of Mary" (“Looja, hoia Maarjamaad“) or the song "The Dawn" ("Koit").

Those and some other songs, sung at that time, were prayers. God heard our prayers and offered our small nation an independent state. Today our land and nation  once again needs our prayers. Estonia needs us to lift it to God on our hands of prayer, for God hears our prayers.

I am glad that the week-long project “Heartbeat Tallinn” is being organized in our capital city, in collaboration with both citizens and foreign guests.

Heartbeat Tallinn is a charity project that will help us and everything that's around us to become more hopeful and tolerant, and it will promote a positive attitude towards life.

I think that Heartbeat Tallinn will provide a significant experience and help us notice the people around us. Through supporting each other we will find the fundamental values of life, values that are not overwhelmed by time or the politics of the day.

I feel that Heartbeat Tallinn will be a creative and unifying event.
Welcome to the week of Tallinn’s churches!

Mihhail Korb
Head of City Centre Administration

The Heartbeat Tallinn week, together with pre-events taking place around the country, is hosted by Agape Estonia (a Christian non-governmental organisation), together with local churches and Tallinn city government.
